If you are a charity shop lover, join HARP for the opening of their newly refurbished shop at 3 Broadway West, Leigh-on-Sea, this weekend (Saturday 27 April).

The opening of this shop is the final piece of the jigsaw for HARP’s charity shops in Leigh-on-Sea following the opening of HARP Media Store in the site of their Leigh Broadway charity shop a few weeks ago.

Anna Wallace, Head of Charity Shops at HARP says: “We’d like to thank the Leigh community for their support while we’ve been reworking our shops in the Leigh area. We’ve worked hard on revamping the shops so that they look inviting and are in keeping with the independent feel of the Broadway.”

All money raised by HARP shops is invested in providing support, advice and help to nearly 1000 people each year who are experiencing homeless or at risk of losing their home.

The HARP Media Store is proving a hit in the Broadway and they are appealing for volunteers and donations for their three shops in the area. If you have items you’d like to donate and can’t get to the shops they offer a collection service in the area, visit their website for details.
