21 Oct 50 for Free: Free stays in historic buildings for charities & non-profits – Landmark Trust
After a brief hiatus in 2021 The Landmark Trust’s 50 for Free scheme is back – offering 50 self-catering breaks in its amazing historic properties absolutely free to charities and non-profit organisations.
We’re now inviting applications for 50 for Free short breaks in March 2022 in some of our most treasured Landmarks across England, Scotland and Wales.
We’re contacting you because we think your organisation is eligible to apply, or because you have signed up to our mailing list. Please also help by forwarding this email to your own contacts to help spread the word. Organisations that have had a 50 for Free stay in other years are eligible to apply again. (Please note that we cannot accept applications from individuals, only from charitable organisations.)
Charities can apply by midday Thursday 2nd December by filling in a simple online form on behalf of people they think would particularly benefit from a stay in a Landmark building – for example, respite stays for personal or professional carers, away-time to plan for the busy third sector, a few days away for disadvantaged children’s groups or struggling families, or a thank you to valued volunteers.
Landmark covers all accommodation costs (and the cost of transport over to the island of Lundy). Applicants just need to be able to fund travel, food and any other associated costs (if necessary) for those on whose behalf they apply.
50 for Free seeks to spread more widely the happiness that Landmarks bring. We want to do our bit to help others who may be finding life a little difficult, or those who are working towards a worthwhile aim. Read feedback from previous beneficiaries.
You have until 12pm 2 December 2021 to apply – please do. Your 50 for Free application could transform lives!
