Allegro Concert On Saturday 25th June will Support Lifestreams Community Garden Helping People Coping With Poor Mental Health

Allegro choir have teamed up with The Garden at Lifestreams to raise funds to support their community garden helping people coping with poor mental health.

“A Right Royal Celebration” at St Cedd’s Church, Westcliff on 25th June at 7.30pm will include a programme of traditional choral arrangements to popular modern composers and hit musicals – all with a Royal connection

Allegro is a group of friends living across south Essex who meet throughout the year with the aim to have fun rehearsing a wide repertoire of music and to present high quality concerts to raise funds for charities and community groups. Over the last 8 years Allegro have raised over £35,000 for 24 community groups and charities”.

Choir member Rob Gray said “The COVID 19 pandemic hit everybody very hard in so many ways in 2020 and 2021.  We are delighted to be singing together again, hopefully raising the spirits of our audiences and raising money for the chosen charities”.

This season will include concerts in Benfleet Methodist Church on Sunday 17th July and St Alban’s Church, Westcliff on Saturday 3rd September raising funds towards, Ntunungwe School in Zimbabwe and Age Concern The haven Community hub.
