08 Sep AMBIT E-LEARNING MODULE AND TRAINING SESSION
Free to all delegates (although non-attendance may be charged), limited spaces available.
The Children’s Society East are happy to offer a training package to develop Essex frontline workers in the skills required to use AMBIT in strengthening delivery across the network. The Adaptive Mentalization-Based Integrative Treatment (AMBIT) is an evidence based approach that has been developed by the Anna Freud Centre. AMBIT provides tools for putting mentalization to use in work with clients, colleagues and wider network, and it is also a framework for local improvement and learning.
Skills you will develop within this course include:
Mentalization – an evidence based therapeutic approach
How to operate and support ‘Team around the worker’ practices
Methods to work as an effective team and navigate systems
Tools and strategies for practical application when managing complex and vulnerable clients with multiple disadvantages
To attend the virtual training you would be required to complete an E-Learning module prior, as this will deliver the theory behind the approach and will take approximately 90 minutes. Once this has been completed the virtual training will be held between 10am-3pm on your choice of session on either the 29th September or 8th October.
