03 Feb Bournemouth Park Academy Looking for New Governors
Bournemouth Park Academy is looking for new governors. Being a school governor is a rewarding role, working towards a shared goal of providing a high-quality education for the children and young people in our community. It also provides an opportunity for personal development and building new skills and experience in areas such as project management, budgeting and working as part of a senior team.
We recruit governors from a wide range of professional backgrounds, so prior knowledge and experience of the education system is not a requirement for this role. Being a Governor is a fantastic way to support a local school and you will learn about our education system and national curriculum from the inside.
Termly meetings take place at the school at 4.30pm; we also ask governors to make half-termly visits to the school and complete online training courses in areas including safeguarding.
Bournemouth Park Academy is part of Eastwood Park Academy Trust (EPAT), a multi-academy trust of two local schools. If you would be interested in finding out more information and arranging an initial visit to our school, please e-mail EPAT Company Secretary, Rachael Botley rbotley@eastwood.southend.sch.uk
