Southend Family Centres are a one-stop for free sessions, services and practical advice for families with primarily 0-5 year olds. Family Centres are places to connect with the local community and are safe places to enjoy a range of activities, experiences, and access services. Professionals that you'll find in a centre include health centres, family support and early year's practitioners. They include a mix of physical and digital spaces with nine Family Centres and Outreach Services in Southend. Southend Family Centres can support your family journey from pre-conception or at any point along the way.

 

Services and Activities include –Antenatal Classes, Baby Massage, Baby Play, Sensory Play, Soft Play, Messy Play, Stay & Play, Cooking, Gardening, Starting Solids Workshops, Toilet Training Workshops, Fussy Eating Workshops, Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour Course, Freedom Programme (Domestic abuse), Stepping Stones Parenting Programme, Family Support Drop-in Group and a 1:1 Family Support Service.
