Blade Education

Blade Education, established in 2006, is a not for profit company based in Southend-on-Sea City that has a track record of working with communities to find new ways to tackle social issues, experience heritage and combat disadvantage through innovative creative projects.  Our team believes passionately in the opportunities offered by lifelong learning, especially outdoors, alongside building bridges between older and younger generations while learning from each other.
The team at Blade Education highly values lived experience as a central part of any successful project.  We believe that the answers to many issues begin with valuing what members of any community can tell us about what they need for a successful outcome.
Wherever possible, we hold lessons, sessions, and events outside.   All ages and all kinds of people get involved in Blade Education projects. People have volunteered for us from the age of 8 to 103.
