Restoring and preserving the cockle boat Endeavour for the community. The Endeavour wasbuild in Leigh on Sea as a cockle boart in 1924 and spend most of her working life in Leigh. In 1940 she was one of the “Little Ships” which rescued troops from the beaches of Dunkirk. Endeavour is now fully restored, attends many Association of Little Ships events, and is available for the local community. Trust members often provide talks to schools and local orgamnisations on Endeavour and her histry, and what’s happened since her renovation.
