About the Organisation

When a family has been told that there's no cure for their loved one's illness, Havens Hospices can help. We're here to make the journey as comfortable as possible, controlling pain and medication, offering respite and caring for adults, babies and children.

A new hospice for Southend, Castle Point and Rochford is now open. Based in Prittlewell, it can care for twice as many patients, offer more treatments, and support more families in a welcoming and therapeutic environment which contrasts with the stark, clinical atmosphere many people want to avoid at the end of their lives.
About Hospice at Home
If a patient’s wish is to be cared for or die in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, Fair Havens Hospice at Home can help.

Our specialist team of Nurses and Nursing Assistants will provide the care and compassion someone at the end of their life deserves, as well as supporting their family. They will support discharges from hospital to home, offer planned and urgent respite in the day and overnight, and provide holistic care at the end of someone’s life.

Our Community Hospice Service can offer care within a patient’s own home, telephone support or visits to our Fair Havens Hub. For advice and support please phone on 01702 220 350 and choose Option One. Telephone referrals are accepted for this type of care.
