About South Essex Homes
South Essex Homes was formed in 2005. As the Arm’s Length Management Organization for Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, our initial aims were to provide a high quality housing service and deliver a large program of major improvements to tenants’ homes.
We have now improved the vast majority of Council housing in Southend so that it meets the Decent Homes Standard. Over time, South Essex Homes has evolved. We have worked hard to improve our services, increase satisfaction and residents are very much at the heart of our business.
