The Continence Advisory Service is a specialist nurse led service.
Service Information
We offer assessment and treatment of adults with complex bowel and bladder problems. This may include pelvic floor assessment and exercises, bladder retraining, pelvic floor stimulation and feedback, intermittent catheterisation, food fluid and toileting advice. Information on aids gadgets and pad products. We also provide teaching for all community healthcare professionals.
Nurse led clinics across south Essex and in patient’s homes if required.
Clinic locations; Rayleigh, Benfleet, Thorpedene, Hadleigh, Raphael House Rochford, Westcliff, Canvey, Warrior House Southend.
The service is also delivered in residential care homes across south Essex.
