We are a family friendly church with a lively and welcoming congregation - our mission is to make friends with people and introduce them to Jesus!
Why not join us for Sunday worship in our hall at the junction of Clarence Road and Clarence Street in Central Southend. We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am - everyone is welcome. Worship is followed by free refreshments.

The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in society. As we face the worst cost of living increase in our lifetime, people on the margins need us now more than ever.
We provide emergency food, check up on people who live alone and work alongside other agencies to support refugees and the homeless. The Salvation Army in Southend is responding to the current crisis in a host of practical ways.

Sundays
10:30am Morning Worship
We are a musical fellowship with a broad range of musical mediums to enhance our worship.
We have a traditional brass band.
We have a traditional adult choir and a community gospel choir.
We also have a contemporary music group featuring guitars, keyboard and percussion.
We do not worship music, but use this God given medium to draw us closer to him and spread the good news about his kingdom, remembering at all times that 'it's all about you Jesus!'

Senior Citizens' Club - Friday Friendship Club - First Friday in every month. We have Fish and Chips (£5 payable in advance) and a guest speaker. If you just want to come for the speaker it's 1pm and costs £1.
