11 Nov Community Investment Board – November 2022 Update
To deliver their vision and mission the Board has opened to receiving applications for amounts under £10,000 and ideas over £10,000. Please note that the opportunity to apply will close at 5pm on Wednesday 23 November. An update on new funding available will be posted in early 2023.

Applicants are reminded that it is possible to request core costs including utilities, the Board are acutely aware of the challenges of increasing costs for energy and therefore encourage those getting in touch to be realistic about the amounts needed.
Community Investment Fund: Improving Young People’s Mental Health – Now Open
The Community Investment Board is now open to receiving applications that enable young people to build resilience and improve their own mental health thanks to funding from the Southend Education Trust. Forward Motion: Smarter Travel Fund – Enabling Healthier Journeys
The Community Investment Board are working with Forward Motion to administer the Smarter Travel of a total £15,000, to which groups can apply for up to £3,000 to encourage Southend residents to take healthier journeys, to work, school, social activities etc. To apply please read this guidance to click through to the simple application form. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 30 November.
