22 Jul Domestic Abuse Support Assistant – Safe Steps
Safe Steps are looking to recruit additional staff to its services for survivors of domestic abuse in the borough of Southend and Essex.
The role is to support the Adult Domestic Abuse Team, providing administrative support, triaging and processing referrals ensuring the flow and accuracy of information meets the teams work needs. You will have experience of inputting information and working with a range of agencies, together with knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse issues and/or working with vulnerable adults.
In addition, you will be expected to occasionally support the delivery of recovery programmes, outreach services and training events. You will require good administration skills with excellent attention to detail and good written and verbal communication. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to begin a career in domestic abuse support, in return we will provide training, experience and mentoring. This is a two year fixed term post.

Salary: Further information upon request, but subject to qualifications and relevant experience – £20,092 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Annual leave: Commencing at 25 days per annum
