Learning Disability Mortality Review (LeDeR) programme: Action from Learning Report 2019/2020

Learning Disability Mortality Review (LeDeR) programme: Action from Learning Report 2019/2020

We know that too many people with a learning disability die too young and as this programme continues we understand more about the circumstances that led up to those deaths.

There is much more we need to do and the LeDeR programme gives us the largest body of evidence in the world about the deaths of people with a learning disability reviewed at an individual level.

This report includes actions taken at a national level and a number of examples of improvements in local areas from across the country.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make these changes happen, especially the people with lived experience so often making the most important contribution to this vital work.
