We have always known there was a need for evening ESOL classes for those who work and therefore cannot attend our daytime classes. We have finally found volunteers to teach these classes. From February 8th, we will be running 2 ESOL classes (Absolute Beginner and Beginner+) every Wednesday, from 6pm to 7pm. The classes will take place at our hub in the Victoria Shopping Centre. These classes are free.
To join one of our free English classes: please come to the hub to take our English Entry test. Your result will help us find the right class for you. You can come in for a test on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays between 10am and 2pm. No need to book an appointment. If these times do not suit you, email us at office@welcome2theuk.com to arrange another time.
In other news, we have just received 2 PCs from a charity called EveryChildOnline. They are available for our ESOL students and members to use for free. We will soon start offering free 1-2-1 tutoring in basic computer skills.
