👋 Meet David Hurst, one of our Trustees who we are showcasing this #TrusteesWeek! Joining us as one of a handful of new Trustees we are very thankful to benefit from David’s time and we’re excited to have his input on our board.
David is a local businessman so he is very familiar with Southend and has a good understanding of the area. He was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Essex in 2019 which involves assisting the Lord Lieutenant with their duties. David has recently gained another role in the form of becoming a Grandad for the first time which he is thoroughly enjoying.
Outside of work, one of his favourite things to do is walking up hills and connecting with the outdoors. David’s picture is actually of him reaching the highest point in Africa which is the Uhuru Peak on Mount Kilimanjaro
