10 Feb PlastiCity – Free boxes for recycling plastic
As part of the PlastiCity Project, we have launched the PlastiCity Pledge.
For schools, businesses and charities that sign up, we are providing 5 boxes for plastic recycling free of charge. For organisations that generate plastic, this is a great way to ensure that the plastic is recycled rather than sent to landfill.
For schools, businesses and charities:
We are distributing the plastic recycling boxes to participants on Friday this week, between 9 and 1pm and next Tues between 9 and 2pm from the Civic. Simply fill the box with plastic and call the company to collect when full – we will take care of the rest and send you an update on what happened to the plastic you recycled. There is no cost to you. All you have to do is register for the PlastiCity Pledge on MySouthend (link below).

The PlastiCity project aims to help organisations increase their plastic recycling rates and create greater awareness about circular economy. You can register for the Pledge using the link below.
