Permanent part-time 16 to 22.5 hours per week including some weekend working. Salary – £19,305.00 full time equivalent (fte)

If you would like to join TeamRAD – delivering invaluable one-to-one and group support to deaf people, in their first language, usually British Sign Language (BSL) or via specialist communication systems like Makaton, please get in touch! Our Independent Living team provides person-centred support so that deaf and deaf/blind people (including those who have additional support needs, e.g. a learning disability or mental health challenge) can develop the skills needed to live independently.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone can live a safe, fulfilled and happy life. If you have a positive attitude, a flexible approach and would like to join our team – get in touch!

To apply for any of these roles you must be a native user of BSL or minimum Level 2 and be a car owner/driver.

Permanent roles attract life assurance benefit and generous pension contributions.

For full details, please download an application pack (click here). Alternatively please contact our HR colleagues on 0300 688 2525 (voice phone) or by email HRAdmin@royaldeaf.org.uk.

Please feel free to complete your supporting statement by sending in a video clip in BSL although this is not an essential requirement. In addition to the application, please send us a video clip of yourself telling us a little bit about you and why you want to work for RAD (no more than 2 minutes) – this gives us the opportunity to visually see your signing skills and bring your application to life.
