Safe Steps are looking to recruit additional staff to its services for survivors of domestic abuse in the borough of Southend and Essex
The ideal candidate will need to be highly motivated and committed to making a difference to the safety and promotion of healthy relationships for women.
Relevant experience of working with vulnerable client groups is essential and a knowledge of the domestic/sexual abuse sector or housing sector would be an advantage. Safe Steps is committed to training and development and is prepared to fund IDVA training and accreditation for the right candidate.
Due to the nature of the role, this vacancy is open to women only.
Occupational requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies
Salary: Further information upon request, but subject to qualifications and relevant experience – £21,322 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Annual leave: Commencing at 25 days per annum
