22 Aug Volunteer Receptionist Needed – SAVS
If you have good computer skills and are adaptable, reliable and friendly then we need you!
SAVS is a registered charity and relies on its team of volunteer receptionists to be the first point of contact for anyone calling into the office, either on the phone or in person. Full training is given but good computer skills are important (confident with database entry would be wonderful but we can teach you!) We’re currently looking for a receptionist for Friday afternoon, looking for someone with these skills as well as good communication skills. This role would suit someone newly retired, unemployed or a uni student prepared to volunteer for 4 hours once a week (some flexibility would be appreciated).
We really value our volunteers, reimburse travel expenses and many go on to find paid employment elsewhere as a result of increased confidence, learning new skills, adding to their CV and gaining a good reference. (And for anyone looking to get back into work, we do have 100% success rate for all our volunteers who were looking to use volunteering as a route back into work!)
